 EMPOWERMENT OF
CONSTABULARY
A Police Constable is a very important
component of the Police Force. To elevate his self-respect,
all Police Constables are addressed as Police Constable
Officer instead of calling them by name and buckle number.
Training in computer education, English
speaking, Driving, Swimming and other important aspects is
being imparted to improve their personality and upgrade
their skills.
All policemen are commanding Friday
parades to improve their Command & Control skill.
All policemen are given opportunity to
speak for 5 minutes on night roll call by rotation, to
improve their Stage daring and Oratory skills.
Pocket books of law are distributed to
all the policemen to enhance their knowledge of law.
"Atma Darshan" camps are arranged
regularly for police Constable Officers. This has imparted
positive attitudinal change amongst them to develop them as
a good citizen.
